State of the countryside.
Where I live there are loads of forest areas and I love taking the kids for walks there but when I went there last week some one had dumped rubbish everywhere , glass bottles ,tin cans all sorts and at the same time the government want to bring in a Rubbish bin Tax and cut down the rubbish collection from one week to ever other week , so I'm expecting it to get worst.

Sign of the times I'm afraid, all our local village skip services have been stopped and rubbish is being dumped everywhere.

Pick it up. Thats how you can make a difference. Put some flyers up inviting people to meet there on a Sat. morning for 3 or 4 hrs. Just a thought.

My husband is a farmer, so in the winter he walks the roadside and picks up soda-pop cans. He gets much needed excercise and makes a lotta bucks too. Last night someone threw a Jack Daniels bottle(empty) in our front yard. I laughed and asked him why someone would do such an awful thing. He said : I guess everyone knows I pick up pop can's so I guess I needed some glass to and delivered it to me. :-6
