I'm not offended by it at all. I do not think it is suitable for this forum though.

Not in the least. I thought of using Bronzino's Venus and Cupid for mind but I decided it wouldn't work well at avatar size.

BTW spot I love that painting (simply for the head of one of the cupids) it is said tht the original head was removed and the cupids head put in.
I doubt whether any artistic value can be retained in an avatar-sized image. Avatars are informative as an identifier and that's their limit.

an avatar is what you want to portray as an introduction to yourself .....Have you ever read up on the psychology of avatars? It's basically like a favourite piece of clothing, an impression of yourself that you want others to see:)

See, mine is perfect then...cause I don't want you all to know that I'm a big fat wimpy woman....:D :p

No, and that's partly the point. The site is by no means restricted to an 18+ lower age limit.

Beyond that, the rule against nude imagery and obscene language relates to the potential damage such material can bring to the background advertising revenue which is needed for covering bandwidth, licensing and equipment costs. Nobody's picking on stuff from a position of prudery or petty-mindedness.

exactly.

It has nothing to do with "offensive" it has to do with the site rules and the fact that this is a PG site.

Hmm.. I did not know that!!!

Guess I should pay more attention to terms and conditions when I sign up for things.

I'm horrible about reading fine print.

I'll watch my mouth from now on!! :lips:
