I'd have her locked up like a criminal....no respect for her parents home...Of course this could fall into the parents lap of not paying attention to what their children are up to also...

bottom line, she needs to understand that was a stupid, irresponsible and selfish thing to do. "cooling off at friends" --MY A$$, cooling off in a jail cell....

I really do love my children...really!!:p

My brother and I did something similar in high school but we had the fore thought to keep it outside. We tore up the fence in the back between our yard and the neighbors. We filled a fishing boat with ice and 10 beer kegs and about 200 people showed up.

The worst thing that happened was people up and down the street had vomiting and fornicating juveniles in their yard but after the police showed up they cleared it up pretty quick. No harm, no foul.

Yeah, I am guilty of that kind of stuff too...but tearing up the inside of the houses didn't happen...all puking and fornication on the grass!!

I like Helefra's idea of paying back the parents.

I never had parties while my parents where out of town. But the parties in my area were always at the caliche pits 3 miles outside town in the next county. :wah:

She is lucky she lived long enough to get to someone's house so that Mom and Dad could cool down!!

Yes - I would still love her. But, I don't think there is a jury in the world that convict me if I beat her butt til it turned a bright shade of purple.

I would definitely start by taking away her internet access unless it was for school or homework or something...

and, she'd probably be grounded until graduation and have to get a job and help cover the damages.

MY Brother had parties, I was INNOCENT...and chairs got broken and Dad had no beer left, and the place was always clean by the time Mom and Dad got home...

Geesh, I've forgotten all about that, I'm in such "MOM" mode...forgot about those wild parties at the house....we even had people over on Week-nights while Mom and Dad were bowling...:guitarist
