I would like to interject a sad sad little note here that shows how warped some peoples way of thinking goes.

A few months back a young man gunned down students here in Canada, I have forgotten details, but here was his warped thinking

"I wanna die infamous"

What gets my ire up is this story today is going to be splashed internationally and other warped individuals are going to feel the exact same way as that sicko from Canada....

Die infamous sick sick sick and twisted.

This really angers me yes the media is doing their jobs but those twisted minds out there see glory in this.

Ack. Sorry on my tiraid there.

I remember being taught as a kid to never aproach a car from strangers for any reason...Mainly because we grew up in the inner city of Dayton and it could get pretty bad there...

I also remember moving out here to Beavercreek, a very upper class suburb compared to Dayton, and I remember playing baseball out in the field in front of our house with my brother, and a couple of people stopped in a car asking for directions, and no sooner than they were able to finish their sentence my brother and I took off running in a full sprint...Slammed the door to our house shut and locked it...

They probably thought we were nuts...

Yeah we have the news on at work at all times, but I will stand in front of it all day...my boss was updating us on the count and said it was because the guy was upset with his girlfriend. It was my understanding that he killed himself too?

I'm thinking that's what happened...

I haven't been keeping up with it really but I don't think the cops would have been there fast enough to neutralize the threat he posed in such a manner unless he came out firing at them...Not to mention the time in between in the event of them negotiating with them...

On CNN at the latest press conference the police said the ballistics report indicates that one of weapons was used at both shooting locations.

They've identified him, from what I've read and heard, was a difficult task.

I just got done watching the news clip where they show the video that he sent to NBC, what he was doing in between shooting times. Sent package to NY @ 9am, and confessed and gave the message on camera and paper and pictures....it's sickening!!

Yeah, what is sad is that they said that he mentions in his confessional letter the two boys that were responsible for the Columbine shootings by name.

So now we have a major problem with the world vs individuals...and individual takes innocent lives to make statement???:-1
