Sleep
You are tired because you are taing care of kids all day! It is very tiring, even with a nap. If you think you are feeling run down, make a doctor visit to check. Also, remember everyone needs a different amount of sleep, you just might need more than 8 hours a day.

Do you take a nap during the day if you get the chance?
The reason I am asking is because I am always so tired and I don't know why. It gets aggravating sometimes because I want to stay awake to do things but I am worn out during the day (even after I nap with the kids)
Tim and I usually go to bed anywhere between 11pm & 12am then we get right back up and 4am to get him off to work. I stay up anyway because I have kids coming here at 5am. Usually the kids nap at 12:30ish and so do I. We sleep until close to 2pm. Am I not getting enough sleep?? People ask me if I am depressed or sick.. I don't know what's the matter with me. But it bothers me a lot.
hey all I can say is my kids run me ragged - we try to go to bed early - then play musical beds all night - i think there is nothing the matter with you - its just one of the joys of having kids - but they pay us back in such wonderful ways - its worth it

kids drain you. I only have one and between working full time and raising him, at the end of the day, I can't keep my eyes open. I usually get between 7 and 8 hours, and I need every minute of it.

I could not live without my nap. I get done work at 5:30 p.m., come home and eat supper, then take my 1/2 hour power nap. I talked to the doctor about constantly being tired. He said, "Pain makes you tired." Then he didn't change my pain medicine.

Sleep
Hello everyone! I sleep at least 6 to 7 hours a night, then go to work. Peg is right the pain does make you tired. There is really nothing I can do about it. Unless, they will let me sleep in my offfice. Haha. I do know, the more I gget tired, the pain is worse. Plus, I have a 8 year old that requires attention all the time. I do not mind. So, yes, you should be tired if you have children.
