just been out in the fields with the dog and he went straight onto my bed and rubbed all the dirt off himself, orrible little begger, only changed it yesterday:mad:

Oh charming ! Thanks guys.

Hi you other guys ! Just a quick visit, just to keep them lot quiet. I've been so busy, and you wouldn't believe who I've been e-mailing (official business) . Any way I hope you've all had a good day today, and a better day tomorrow. When I've got a little bit more time I'll tell you a bit more about our wee pup Rex - alsatian alpha male weighing in at 38 kilos - teeth like organic chisels, jaw like a crocodile and a bite like a bear trap ( my son can vouch for that - he's an adult by the way ). But he is a delight to have around the house, and at 10 years old he believes he's 4 !

I put his piccy on an earlier posting (sorry he's on his side ! my fault).

I'll catch up with another story about him later !

well, finished me bits and pieces, had a shower, now in me pj's alreaady!! went down town after work and got a baggette filed with turkey,spring onions, coleslaw, mayo and.................... lettuce !!!

flippin lush it was. not a lot on telly is there except casualty in a mo.

Hi ya all, this is my little dog Rex ! He's a 'rescue' dog and he was 8 when we chose him. We decided not to change his name (8 yrs is a long time to have a name) as we thought it might confuse him. We've had him 2 years now and he's absolutely gorgeous. He settled in very quickly, and he's learning things all the time - who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks. He soon realised that if he nodded his head there was a very favourable reaction - like his bowl of food, or a tit-bit, or even a drop of milk. I had never seen a dog nodding for 'yes please' and believe me he really does only nod when he means 'yes'. His lead is held up and he nods furiously - he loves his walks, he gets to run off the lead in the fields and the woods ! I don't think he was walked very much at his previous home, cos it has taken a long time to gradually get him to not pull on the lead. I'm still not allowed to take him out by myself - 38 kilos of alpha male catching a glimpse of a cat ! - I think I would just take off, don't you ?:wah:

Well I did me booty and it was very busy with caravaners Im glad to say. The old crab apple that runs it asked me for some more rent money.........just cause me stall was 100ft long pmsl.....has she no sense of humour????Anyway it was a good day so I cant complain..........oh hell I can lol!!!

Sometimes in our lives we go through times and think.......why??? I believe life is one long lesson and lessons are not easy but the important thing is to learn by them. It dosent matter whether these lessons are good or bad, the important thing is we get something out of that experience. Sometimes we learn trust, sometimes the opposite but no matter what life throws at you its for a reason......that I have come to learn, so indeed I have taken these lessons onboard. I dont know why I am saying all this really .......maybe because I feel I am going through quite a few lessons at the moment and as any pupil will know they are bloody hard at times .

This last three weeks while I too have been feeling pretty awful who is it who has kept in touch, yes our Cornish friends for which I will always be grateful

(not forgetting my good friends on friends of Carol lol).

So I firmly believe in being yourself and have never agreed with how some of the so called *emmets* have wanted to change things down here, if this is the case why did they move here in the first place if things are supposedly so good where they originated from.

When we come back from any holiday and we cross the Tamar into Cornwall we always say we are nearly home, I will never forget my roots and the family who still live in and around the Midlands but after all these years we don't really have an awful lot in common.

I have lived in Cornwall longer than anywhere else I have lived and this is where I will stay until my end and where my final resting place will be.

Hi Joannee, no you haven't offended me in any way! But you did make me stop and think, we do moan about emmits down here but they are our 'bread and butter' after all! Although I wouldn't 'choose' to work in the Tourist Industry ever again!

Hello guys and good to see our Joan back and Betty good to see you hun.Well I went to London today...........no sorry it wasnt to a certain ladies Garden Party pmsl it was to the flipping warehouse...........ugh. I bought 3 great big trolleys of gear so it better bleedin go or I wont be a happy bunny!!Ive got so much stock anyway but you have to keep buying new lines and popular ones.Sometimes I see a line aand think...........cor I bet that will be a flying machine (a trade name for quick selling lol) and 6 years later yer still looking at the bleedin things!!!Still I got some good stuff today..........says she crossing her fingers lol.
