Car boot/Garage sales.

Reading the thread posted by Devist8me about garage sales, i wondered if any of our members have had any good finds at these type of sales?

I was helping out at one at the weekend & found a Crown Devon bowl in mint condition for 50p (80 cents!)

I still cant believe my good luck. :yh_dance

Don`t think I`ve EVER had a `good buy` at a garage/ car-boot sale, but did get given a storage chest with broken lid FREE at one of them as the owner wanted to get rid of it!

I find deals all the time, mostly personal items like clothing and accessories. However, I got a baby monitor wiyh 2 speakers for $7 that would have cost me $60 brand new and they work perfect. Even hubby was impressed by that buy.

Yep, I suspect I will be doing a lot of yard sales shopping for Emily someday. I remember before I had her, seeing kids clothes at a yard sale and not even stopping. Now, I'll be sqealling it on the curb lol.

Oh you lucky devil!

I go "Garage Sailing" every Saturday morning. last weekend I got, get this a state-of-the-art, high-end VCR for $10. The thing was only a year old, but the owner went digital DVD, so he was dumping it. it must have cost $700 when it was new. I put it in my video lab at my house.
