so, I called the Dr.'s office and they said if I am worried to come to the ER and if things get progressivly worse to come in- but since it happened once to wait through the night and be sure to call first thing in the morning. I am so afraid of being that girl that the nurses are like- oh geez, here she is again- ya know? Im not that uncomfortable yet so I think I will try to sleep and see what happens! Thanks for the care and concern! Will definatly keep you posted on what the DR. says tomorrow! :-4

Be as pushy as you feel you need to. Being pregnant is an occasional state with long-term implications, it's not unreasonable of you to take more care than you would at other times.

Hiya, you need to go and your midwife/doctor to get checked out to see whether it's amnio fluid or not. (sorry to be gross but you could just be peeing yourself,it happens to the best of us.;) )

If it is then you need to be monitored carefully in the up and coming weeks and may need a course of antibiotics...you need to take it very easy and rest up. If there is a tear in the sac then it can sometimes heal itself...

Where where the contractions coming from? Low down or over the top of your bump? Where they much different from braxton hicks?

I have an appt. with the midwife late this morning- I'm not really having contractions, its more of a cramp feeling in my lower pelvis but sometimes it hurts more then eases up- and it wasn't pee ( i smelled it- thats what they tell you to do when you think you water broke!- sorry for being gross too!) Thanks to everyone! I will let you know after my appt.!

Ok, midwife said no amniotic fluid but the cramps could be dialating so take it easy for a while-whoo! At least it wasn't serious! Thanks for your prayers and concerns!!
