Could you believe the way those people in the stands acted yesterday when Jeff Gordon broke Earnhardt senior's record? I couldn't help but feel bad for the guy, as records are made to be broken. Someone will break his one day too, and to throw beer bottles and other items was in very poor taste. I enjoy Nascar, but fans like that attribute the old redneck mentality to the sport.

Believe me it is becoming more and more prevalent in all sports, everywhere. And still, I am shocked by those displays when I see them.

I think its sad that they did that! Be happy for someone! Wow, they make us nascar fans look even worse now!
