Okay Then

My hubby is in Technical Support and receives many unusual calls. He just received a call from someone who just made us fall over laughing. Amongst many other wacky things he said - here are two. Firstly he said I may need to call you back later but I don't have a contact number - hubby says 'well how about you call this number that you just called that you don't have'. Then he said the guy needed to lubricate the part he was trying to install - the guy said I have KY Gelly will that do it - hubby said well umm - i guess it might but WD40 would be better.

We just laughed like idiots.

What crazy thing have people said to you?

Oh my likely I said stupid things to tech support persons hehehe I have to think on this.

Some ignoramus told me they were getting rid of their dog because his fur was clogging up the sprinklers.

Here's one, We were in Washington DC and this young couple were on a street corner and looking lost. So the nice person I was with (she used to post here) has one of those real friendly faces, so they stopped her and they were looking at a map and she was trying her hardest to help direct them...and the girl pointed straight from the way she was standing and said, "Okay so if we want to go that way, we should go that way"...My friend looked at her and of course I was standing in the back ground like ummmm yeah....

So they went that way and my friends and I proceeded to...ummmm...... :wah: :wah:

:wah: I'm sure I have said some totally durrish things before - probably most of them posted here - we just had a heavy day - and this crack pot creased us up. Your experience made me laugh - do you think that these people say to them selves 'oh I dont believe I just said that' or do they go on oblivious....I think I might be one of those who thinks ' well I think I made a good impression there' :-5 :wah:

Well, she definately went "that way"....so I'm not sure what she thought...

I know I've said stupid stuff many many many times...funny that I can't think of any right now though
