what have you learned from FG

Post by minks »

In the time I have been here I have learned an awful lot from others, I think the biggest thing I have learned is a great appreciation for others from other places other than my own backyard.

I have learned that some have insomnia.

That some are lonely

That some are pretty bright

That some are witty

That some are thinkers

That some are insecure

That some are mean

That some are caring

That some are inconsiderate

That some are well traveled

That some are out and out stupid

That some are confident

That some need emotional support

That some are immature

That some are young

That some are old

That some are sick

That some healing

That some are confused

That some are enlightned

That some like to share

That some are secretive

That some are petty

That some are interesting

That some are boring

That some get hungry and need to have lunch -- bye

Aww Don't get me started......

This is the second site I ever joined, the last one everyone was fighting and just seemed to be getting a kick out of belittling people. So I come upon this place called ForumGarden... and I think well I don't think I will bother (eventhough I like the idea of a place where everyone can be together and share their ups and downs) - but they don't exist so I ain't bothering ... so I hang around watching. Well I am so glad I did because I see people sharing their most wonderful moments and then moments which will bring the hardest of us too tears. And think this has to genuine cos it seems so passionate....so I join and I am never leaving!!! :-4 :-4

yes, that was my thought exactly.

I've learned that cliques can exisit, even in cyberspace!!

Not that anyone has acted like that to me, everyone here is super nice, but I see drama on here from time to time...

Apart from these two things, nothing that I didn't know from observing society generally.

1 - People who you previously thought to be a bit 'basic' are actually quite insightful.

2 - People can tell an awful lot of lies online, if they think no one knows them.

So - I guess I've learned to be less judgemental, and more careful of trusting people.
