The apology could simply have been sorry I was misunderstood.
The person being criticised chose to make it public. She has been told where she can complain about my PM.

The "manipulation" is by forum default. I can't change the timestamps. The first post that gets moved is listed as the thread starter. I just thought of a way to change that though. I'm quite happy to take all the credit.
