What do you like with chocolate?

I grew up with the standard Chocolate and cherries- cherry chocolate

Later on came chocolate and peanut butter- Reece´s Pieces.

Recently I discovered chocolate and orange- Lindt´s Excellent Orange!

( But beware after some experimentation I´bve found that milk chocolate won´t do!)

More chocolate just about sums it up!

Also caramel, toffee, raisins, peanuts, hazelnuts, biscuit .............there is just so many things that go well with chocolate, yum

I like coconut and chocolate, pretty much any sort of nut, orange, raspberry, pretzels, strawberries, pineapple, marshmallows, mango, gummy bears, gummy worms, potato chips, animal crackers....

gummy bears and gummy worms in choc., really??? I've never had that. There is this great fudge shop called "Sweet Hannahs" in Thornburg, my friend owns it...she has the BEST choc. covered strawberries and licorice and fruit rings etc....worth a trip for ya.

And thanks for the head up on that place in KG Sweet Tooth...will have to make a trip down just to try choc covered potato chips...I dip potato chips in choc. Ice cream...yummmmm

I prefer a nice tawny port for dark chocolate ( especially... Valrhona, Kea'au, Hodges Vintage, Manjaria, Pur Caraibe, Noir Infini), a nice aged cognac that's not too tannic or astrigent... or coffee... preferably a Maragogype, Sumatra or even a Jamaican Blue Mountain to accompany a dark El Rey, SÃ£o Thomé or Guanaja. I also prefer fruit... orange slices, pears, dates, cherries...

On my first trip to Alabama to visit friends I discovered Chocolate Gravy!! A rich mousse flavored chocolate poured over 'what else?' bisquits! they served pan fried ham with it and milk for a chaser...
