9 to 5

Post by buttercup »

Does anyone actually work 9 to 5 mon to fri here?

Im getting sick of working evenings & weekends as well as regular daytime hours, the idea of a 9 to 5 is sounding good to me right now. Maybe its the time of year, jan & feb tend to be when most people change jobs or maybe im just thinking the grass is greener on the other side :-3

Am i ? Do we have 9 to 5 members ?

I work from 8-5! And since my dad owns the business and my husband and I both work in it, we talk about work all the time and work from home all the time! It sucks!:-5

I do a 37 hour week.

I only have to work between 10-4

I have the flexibility to work from home (like today)

I love my job

have previously worked at weekends, but luckily for me, can't ever see that happening again. Hated it.

I work 8:30-5:30, and always dreamed of working at home, especially while kids are younger, and being a single mom....but boyfriend works from home as a web designer, and the Man works around the clock....that would probably be me...:-5

I have a good office job, nice people and very low key...I love it!

I am working a combo of shifts.... after many years doing 12 hour days..pretty much 6 days a week. Self employed .. your entire life is work related. Now I do some 8ams till 2pm some 2pm till 8pm. Week ends always included. Even though the shifts are shorter, I dont like it. I mostly miss scheduling my own time and not having to ask permission for time off.

I work 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week. 7a-7p. That's the nursing home business for ya! If I had a chance to work a regular 9-5 job, I might consider it, although having 4 days a week off is sooo nice. I wouldn't mind doing 7-3, then there's more of the afternoon to do other things.
