Back to work tomorrow.

Post by suilunguk »

I have been off work for months with cauda equina, and spinal nerve damage. I have been so bored and lonely it is unreal. I am back to work tomorrow, i am feeling really nervous. I cant wait to go back, at the same time i am nervous about going back. I know i am silly.

Take care.

I think it's natural for you to be nervous after such a long spell out of work, but make sure to get a good night's sleep before hand will work wonders, and just stay calm, and before you know it you will be back in the swing of things in no time.

I wish you all the best!! :-6

Good I'm glad to hear! I'm sure they will make you feel welcome as though you hadn't be gone at all, especially if you are very close to them, which it sounds as though you are!

Well i am back from my first day at work. I can only work 6.30 til 12 other wise my pain gets unbearable. Everyone was lovely. My manager is a star, as he has supported me throughout, bless him. I loved getting out of the house. I loved seeing all my colleagues again. I forgot how much i liked the work as well. My pain is quite bad at the moment, but i can just relax this afternoon, the pain should subside a bit before tomorrowenough to work anyway. Which i call normal and average pain, day to day pain. The only thingi did not like was getting up at 6am lol. Thank you all for support.

Take care.
