Snakes and Mosquito's already??

Post by Sheryl »

The rattlesnakes are already active this year. We've had 2 small kids be bitten already in the last week. Both times the kids were in thier yards playing. :( And those bloodsucking little beasts are thriving too. I guess all the rain we've gotten in the past couple of months had to have a bad side too.

You're having an easy year so far, then. The scorpions, the copperheads, the tarantulas, the water moccasins, the recluse spiders, the coral snakes and the black widows are still staying quiet.

I'm so glad I live in a place where we don't have to worry about snakes, scorpions, etc. Except for mosquitos. Ick. But I can't complain! It's warming up wonderfully and I've gotten so sick of winter. Yay for spring/summer!:D

Snakes don't really bother me. As long as they stay outta my way! I've been known to scoop up spiders in my hand and take them outside. It's not their fault I have a house in their territory! I'm weird though... I have pet rats.

Centipedes, though, forget it. I hate those freakin' things. Yuck! All the little legs really creep me out. :yh_sick

That's so cool you think they're the best!! I love my rats, they're really adorable. When I say I have rats, most people look at me with a look of "ick!!" on their face. I'll take some pics tonight and show you. One is all white and the other is all black. When they lay next to each other and cuddle they look like a little ying-yang! The black one is Zoe and the white one is Chloe. :wah:
