Near me the bodies of two 86 year old people were found dead in their back garden , they were lying near to an electric lawn mower , they seem to have been there all night , they have been married for 60 years , it was first thought that they had been electrocuted but on first examination there are no signs of any contact burns and it now seems as though they both had heart attacks , the only plus side of this sad news is that they don't have to suffer the grief of losing a loved one :-1

That is so sad, my thoughts go to their family at a time like this. I suppose at least they are now both together as you say, rather than leaving the other behind in sadness.

Oh, that brought tears to my eyes...My grandparents have been married for over 60 years and grew up together, so basically known each other all their lives, they are in their 80's and we are concerned about when one of them goes...the other one won't be far behind of a broken heart, we are sure of it!

My thoughts and prayers for the family at this sad sad time.:-1

They've lived a long time and were lucky to go together. I am assuming they were fairly healthy to be able to cut grass at their age? It has to be hard on their families but I hope they got comfort in knowing they'll walk hand in hand through the pearly gates.
