How about a sensible date format? should be 18-07-2005. It's a real culture shock trying to work out why there are 18 months in the year.

We have "daylight savings time" in the U.S. Once we go off it in the Fall, you'll see the 1 hour diff go away.

I heard from Anastrophe, but don't know what the real problem is. This looks like it is a specific issue with your PC - as far as I know - you are the only one with the problem.

If you would like - email me or PM me your password. I'll log into your account and view it here. That way, I can tell if it's the system or your pc.

Aware of this one. It's a bug. I'll fix when I get back...you'll have to endure for a couple of weeks. ;)

Oh GMC that is a never ending dilema, here in north america we print it like we say it, July 18th, 2005 So either way it is difficult just depends on geography.

there are still some glitches in the system since the upgrade. one of them is that monthly memberships aren't getting automatically upgraded. we've manually upgraded you to supporter.

My home page looks different, but nothing is running incorrectly. I reported each and every one of those annoying posts with their "free" bull-shite. Tombstone is out of town but hopefully Paul will be in soon to delete all that crap. DEATH TO ALL SPAMMERS!!!!!! :yh_angry

No, I didn't click on any link. I did apparently post at the same time tony did. I also sent him a pm giving him a little nudge to intro himself lest we think he's a spammer  .

BR, everything's working okay, but each time a new thread's posted, my far-right column gets pushed down a bit. Is that what's happening to yours?

there's something wrong with one of the posts that's displaying on the main page. it might be Accountable's posts - maybe the reality reruns post - or it could be something else entirely. unfortunately, i'm not the forum software guru that tombstone is. so we'll just have to wait for other posts to push the current posts off the top page.

that's really peculiar. i just tried posting to it, and had no problem doing so (i deleted the post immediately though so as not to add clutter)(and of course, i have super-duper-extra-special-secret-sesame-seed-bun privileges, so it's not really a particularly accurate or rigorous test).

this is unfortunately one of those 'weirdities' that i'll have to leave for the illustrious tomstone to address, as it's beyond my expertise....sorry!

Post by suilunguk »

Hiya,

I wrote a post yeseterday in chit chat. The post was in p*** off. Today i go on and see my post is there but completely different to how i wrote it. It had a members name on the top, as though i was directly speaking to them. All my smilies had gone. The sentences were changed to sound quite snotty. The member in the post was rightly annoyed by the post. Can you help me figure out how someone changed my post. I just want to put in place something that will make sure this doesnt happen again. I am wondering if i didnt log out properly when i used the computer at work. I will talk to IT at work tomorrow to see if they can shed some light on it. All help and suggestions greatly recieved.

Take care.

Clairex
