Got a problem relating to FG?

I wrote a post yeseterday in chit chat. The post was in p*** off. Today i go on and see my post is there but completely different to how i wrote it. It had a members name on the top, as though i was directly speaking to them. All my smilies had gone. The sentences were changed to sound quite snotty. The member in the post was rightly annoyed by the post. Can you help me figure out how someone changed my post. I just want to put in place something that will make sure this doesnt happen again. I am wondering if i didnt log out properly when i used the computer at work. I will talk to IT at work tomorrow to see if they can shed some light on it. All help and suggestions greatly recieved.

Take care.

honest i was not annoyed at all ,but i was worried i'd over stepped the thin line between having a joke and upsetting people for once :yh_whistl :yh_whistl

That sounds more likely, though still unlikely. It's bizarre.

Only a mod or someone who knows your password can change it.

The mods all know that nothing we say can **** of jimbo so we wouldn't bother. :wah: And any other FG members like to take personal credit for being mean to him. It's a status thing.

If you go with the flow you just scored a few points at FG... but you do want to make sure no one is accessing your account.

If you are talking about the photos then it's because large hotlinked photos in an opening post blow the margins (cause a scroll bar to be necessary) on the homepage unless they are attachments. I thought everyone knew that.

It doesn't happen on my monitor and now I have a smaller one so didn't think it did, I'll resize them next time before I post. Thanks for letting me know, eventually. :p

I was thinking about starting a thread on it today. You're not the only one who has done that. Soberano is the biggest criminal with photo link bombs. :D

:wah: :wah:

we know you too well, it recognised your username and decided under NO conditions or terms would we let you keep a blog here.

um... actually I have no idea why that happens.

Relating to the ForumGarden blogs - I'd hold!

In the next few weeks, we will be upgrading FG's software which will include some snazzy new BLOG functionality.

The current blog software is *weak - and I'll be looking forward to the day when we can retire it. :)

Have a great day!

I'm not posting links to other sites you stupid morons.

Now how about making it a user option. And not wiping out what I type needlessly.
