Being too Cuddly Wuddly

Post by Pheasy »

Last weekend we went to a baseball game. We met up with a customer of hubbys company. He, his wife and 3 children came too - 4 year old twin boys and 5 year old boy. The kids got bored with the game so me and his wife (Petrees), her kids and Lucy went to the play area for the kids. We really hit it off - she was such a nice person, it seemed like we had known each other forever. At the end of the game, she lost one of her 4 year olds in the in the mass rush to leave the stadium. We alerted security who very quickly had all the exit gates covered. They finally found him - but it was the longest 15 mins ever.

Anyway, when it was time to go I felt very tearful and hugged Petrees about 3 times.

(I'M NOT GAY :wah: ).

Do you think that was too much, I just felt like she was a really good friend and also felt for her loosing her little boy.

Ahh well, probably won't see her again anyhow.

No it wasn't too much...You did nothing wrong by expressing affection to someone that you spent time with and went through a hard time with...losing a child in a heavily populated area is an horrible experience...(got the t-shirt). You obviously felt a bond and that is a beautiful thing...

I'm not gay and I'd hug you about 5 times after spending 10 minutes with you so there!!

No not at all unless she reacted funny about it. Sad in this day and age that people are afraid to show affection, men I think being the worst culprits.

If it had been me that lost my child for a while I would have been glad of a hug! That was nice of you to show that you cared.:-4

Very well said. :D Having lost mine so many times due to him running off, including yesterday, I agree.

Someone I know from the school said the other day that she would love to see me drunk cos I am the funniest person. I hate to inform her, but when I'm drunk, I spend most of my time hugging anyone - shocks a few who don't know me :)
