Nominate threads to merge

If you think some threads should be merged please nominate them here and we can have a poll.

I know there are a lot of threads that duplicate each other in various ways but don't want to merge them unless most agree that it would be useful. Mostly trying to avoid "part 2" threads by those who object.

so.....

i think all of soberano's ,a lot of pinky's a couple of wise guys all furry threads should be merged and then put in the compost heap

How about I do a search/select all of threads by jimbo and merge them into a thread called "Insanity: I like it"

The ones that are to just one member. I know some aren't paid members so sometimes their inboxes are full but those really do get my goat. Say a members name then a message just to them, that's what PMS are for surely and the forums are for everyone.

yeah but sometimes crazy mysef included will do this because some other members may know where or what some members are up to,so they in turn could then post to let us know everthing is ok...............cant see a problem with that really

sometimes those threads are because the person's PM box is full so the option isn't available.

I think we could use an official chat room invitation thread, to tell people you are going in. With scuba gear.

and vote 'no' on the merge thread polls to have your votes counted.

ooo thats a good one Koan!! i never seem to catch anyone in there.. probably the time difference i suppose sometime.. do a lot of members use it? It doesnt seem so to me:-3 Anyway, i would love to get to chat to some people

I never seem to catch anyone in there but if we get one big thread to tell people you are in there looking then we might be able to co-ordinate it better

What about a regular chat night? Also with the Chat Room on here there is the option to show at the bottome of the forum, who is there and which rooms. Whoever installed it could do that.

I have the guy who designed it on my MSN, want me to ask him how? Can't BELIEVE it's so cheap, he could be loaded by now, it's the best Flash Chat. Can add radio and stuff too.

oh goodie housecleaning tales let's share... anyone suffer that depression when the house looks like a bomb zone? I sure do yet some days I can't be bothered to clean it up... this weekend I went to town on my house and it feels so much better BUT, I look at my front flower garden and get all depressed again, weeds weeds and more weeds... bloody hell does it ever end. Ok somebody press the "time out" button for me I am the days black cloud.

I was like that for years after having my son, it's so depressing but since having Jade I am totally the opposite.

a final thought on this from me for the evening:

we should only consider merging threads that are constantly being mentioned. So if someone started a thread on... g-string bikinis a year ago and someone starts a new thread about them now we don't worry about why they didn't dig up the old g-string thread.

Do we have a thread about g-strings?

Is there a better way of requesting that people clear their inboxes? Right now people are having to create threads just to ask. Could we not have a 'Please Clear Inbox' thread or is there another way we could request this.

We could try using one thread and just bump it with the person's name. If it has a catchy title like "Who's the mailbox dunce?" then it should catch attention whenever it gets bumped.
