I put this under general because I'm not suggesting anything, but wondered what others thought of this picture. This fetus was at 21 weeks when surgery was performed. Google search Samuel Alexander Armas' Story for the whole story.

Mmmmm....not a particularly appealing photo to be honest. I presume the point is to say that a baby which could survive can still be legally aborted?

There was no point trying to be made. I am fascinated by medicine and this picture, I thought, was very interesting. I'm a recent new mother and this area is of particular interest now.

It is over whelmingly amazing what Sergons can do now-a-days! Probably 4 or 5 years ago proceedures such as these were only in the imaginary stages!
Who knows what wonders they will be able to do in another 5 years from now??

The wonders of modern medicine, just amazing what can be done to save a baby, this child chances were probably very low for survival if this procedure wasn't done..
