Why does a baby have a poo when you've just given them a bath?

Why not?

My favorite story which my oldest son has really grown to HATE is when he was probably about a month old or less... I had just taken him out of the sink from his bath and he pooped in my hand...it was SO cute!!

I know...everyone is gagging..the husband (at the time) was grossing out and telling me how gross I am....I was just talking about this last night ironically enough and the b/f wanted to barf when I told him...

As to answer your question...have no clue, all I can think is they are relaxed or it just is "their time" to have thier healthy!!:D

I have two boys over a decade apart in age and had to learn the same lesson twice. When changing a diapy ALWAYS cover the liitle fire hose with something. I was nearly blinded. :-5
