Thanks for the Disturbed. Hadn't seen that one for a while.

The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

:sneaky: I loved to heard the Metallica too and thats is one of the hittest band during our ages...reviewing the past bands, anybody here remember the Clash Band...the british

punk of 70's..?:guitarist

Sandinista! is represented on the Clash hits album by only two tracks, "Magnificent Seven" and "Washington Bullets." The latter song - with the chant, "Sandinista!" - convinced some skeptics that the Clash were just anti-American commies. A rhyming history of U.S. / Nicaraguan relations cut just after the Sandinistas came to power, the tune is actually no more radical than Walter Mondale. It indicts communism for the action of Russians in Afghanistan and the Chinese in Tibet, then it praises Jimmy Carter (indirectly) for being the first U.S. president to allow a popular revolution in Nicaragua. Truly a weird pop song.

Ever come across a band called Atomic Rooster - tracks like Tomorrow Night and Devil's Answer were magnificent and I'd load a video if I could find one.

Atomic Rooster groups? What are some samples of their tracks..? to my mind¦ I am not so familiar with this group but like what I know about the Clash ¦

Calling to remember about the 1970’s british punk Clash band¦

In the late 1970s, the Sex Pistols may have grabbed the headlines, but The Clash became the more considered, musically intelligent voice of a generation.

Tapping into the disaffection of class and race struggles in urban Britain, Strummer led the band to national prominence with songs like White Riot, their first single in 1977, which included lyrics on how "all the power's in the hands/of people rich enough to buy it".

They attracted a growing following by hitting a similar nerve, with songs like Clash City Rockers and White Man in Hammersmith Palais, railing against unemployment and social inequality.

Oh man! Suzi Quatro! I just sprang some gray hairs!

Wasn't it her that did that Jose Quervo song??

Quiet Riot- I'd never seen Slade before, that was new for me. I remember loving QR in senior year. Then I went to beauty school and cut my hair so it looked like that of Rudy the drummer. Geez. And it was auburn with blackish purple shine in it. I thought I was hot. :wah:

Speaking of Quiet Riot, how about...

Twisted Sister

Warrant

Cinderella

Poison

Y&T

Ratt

Okay wait this doesn't really fit as a headbanger song but I'll see if I can drag it up for kicks... back in a sec!
