big, busy, crowded, dirty, lots of things to do and see like any other big city anywhere. *shrug* not my thing at all.............I'm a country girl

i might be going there late next year.I have got an e-amaill buddie who lives in long island,we have been e-mailing and chatting on the now for 4 half years:)

New York is a blast! Culture, weirdness, freindly folks, people who won't give you the time of day....

My favorite place.

Go down to The Village and check out the different stores. Don't miss a couple of drafts at McSorleys.

Next take a cab uptown and find a pub on a side street off Madison Ave.

Huh? Is this the same city you were in ten minutes ago?

Do a Central Park carriage ride. The Museum Of Natural History. The Museum Of Modern Art. Go back down to SoHo and look for Robert DeNiro. Go to the Ed Sullivan Theatre and see David Letterman.

Find the kinky sex shops in The Village. Just don't touch anything.

Damn.

Can I come too?

It is a crazy town but New York is in my opinion a different kind of "DISNEY LAND".

Jacksdad gave you a great iteneria of places to go and see. You will either love it or hate it, just need to experience it yourself.

NYC is huge and lovely at night in Manhattan.Good luck with getting there.

I been to Yankee Stadium :-4 was totally awesome.

I love how they can change the lighting on the Empire State Building. When Rutgers played Louisville in football last fall it was all in scarlet..
