tis a lot of personal stuff I am curious what you may be compiling maybe a demographic analysis of us all, hey we don't have to give it up and I was asking tongue in cheek no harm intended on my part.... caps sorry maybe came across wrong... my mistake.

I work in a clerical position and I get paid hourly. I've been at this company for 16 years and don't even make quite $9.00/hour. Your opinion please.

PS. I do a damn good job and hardly ever miss a day.

My only opinion is that you must like the job, benefits or something, it can't be the money.

Up until the end of Feb I was paid by the hour - what I worked I was paid for and I was responsible for keeping a float to tide me over holidays, sickness, etc.

Now I appear to be paid by the month! I doesn't make any difference what work I do the cheque at the end of the month is the same - I'm finding it difficult to get used to it.

Surely there must be *some* link between the work I do any the pay I receive?
