If you want to know the time, don't ask Mr. Bush!
From today's "Daily Telegraph":
"When George W Bush began shaking hands with enthusiastic well-wishers in Albania he was wearing a watch. When he stopped a few minutes and dozens of hearty welcomes later, he was not.
In the bottom picture the president appears to be searching for something
What happened to the watch became the subject of intense international speculation yesterday."

Oh come on, if that's true it's the most brazen theft of all time as well as the funniest.

One of the U.S. evening news shows had a different camera angle on the incident, and it plainly shows him removing his watch and pocketing it.
I don't like G.W. Bush, but I like that he wears a $50 Timex (according to the news report).

Well, it does steal time away from all that vitally important news about Paris & Britney.
Love him or hate him, George is one of the most influential people on the planet. I'd rather hear a humorous story about his watch, than get innundated with non-stop minutiae about the latest bimbo mishap.

Yes, I saw this story and I thought it was quite funny, so it seems Mr Bush did put his watch away himself, hmmnn. If it had been pickpocketed, that would have been audatious indeed. By god, I tell you what, they were all over him over there, they couldn't get enough of the man! He could certainly have a political carrer in Tirana once he is finished in Washington, though the pay certainly wouldn't be as good. Even though I don't paticularly like George as president, he does have quite a sense of humour on occasion, I am sure he will be cracking some jokes about this at some point. I do also like the fact that he wears a pretty inexpensive watch, its a shame he wouldn't get some of his pals to be a little less spendthrift as well. :wah:

Osama bin Laden wears a Timex Ironman Triathlon according to The Scotsman this morning. It's good to know these little details. The paper had nothing to say about the opinion of either the annoying Texan or the tall Saudi regarding Paris Hilton's new-found change of heart but I'm sure they're both pleased for her along with the rest of the world.
