Northern Ireland almost grinds to a halt twice in one week

Well, it has been raining constantly since Wednesday and parts of the country have been flooded quite badly:( Belfast included. I'm house sitting for a friend this weekend and I almost didn't get here due to flooding. Thankfully I eventually got here in one piece (after falling in the BIGGEST puddle you've ever seen) and now I'm locking myself in for the weekend coz guess what....??

It's still raining:-5 :-5

Thank heaven for FG to keep me company:wah:

Jim and I are off to Portsmouth tomorrow, staying in tonight as I'd rather save mysef for a blow out tomorrow

Hard to believe that last weekend it felt like we were in the Mediterranean, I hope that wasn’t the total of our summer this year.

yeah i can't believe only last sunday me and my family were at the seaside and playing on the sand and getting sun burnt and this weekend, its water proofs and umbrella's

We just had the biggest crack of lightening, it is pouring down, we are going to set off in an hour.

Oh well, its not all bad, Jim and I will have to just stay in the pubs to save getting my hair wet :rolleyes:

We have has some nasty,but no flooding.
