first i try to get out of going ,but no every one keeps on i have to guy so i buy a cheap pair of trousers and borrow my sons shirt ,we go to a pub near the station we wait for 30 minutes to get a drink we cant get served its so bloody busy and go to a different pub miles away

any way we left walking to the station the heavens opened sue had used a spray on tan on her arms and her legs as it rained it all ran all over my white shirt i looked like i had fallen into the river at willy wonkers :-5 :-5

I hate ladies day, full of snobs, people bitching about everyone and very loudly, I couldn't last an hour in that atmosphere.

Friday is the best day, mind you since it's had the refurbishment, it is a lot quieter, think the bad weather doesn't help.

I think one of the funniest things was when we arrived, we made our way to the racecourse, there was a procession going around the course, Jim's daughter Chantelle, pointed and said "who are those old folks?", It was the Queen and Prince Phillip followed by other members of the Royal Family in their carriages, by this point I was bent over double laughing loudly
