Yeah.....she had the affair, he raised the kids, she lived above her means, she made the bad investments, he made his money after the divorce and it was all over 30 years ago. Seems a bit unreasonable even though he can afford it.

It amazes me that that can happen, when I divorced and got my half of the house there was a clause in the final paperwork that stated that I can not go back to him for any more money other than maintenance for the children.

Yet a male friend of mine has been bought out of his house as she wants to move on but she can still come back to him should she loose her job and claim maintenance for herself

I wish that some judge, somewhere, would order some ex of mine to give me something!! This is ridiculous. Many women seem to feel that getting divorced means divorcing the person, but never their assets, I loathe that mentality.
