Woo-hoo!!! Thank you Neffy!
What'll ya' have? I'm about ready to fire up the grill. We've got plenty of beverages over by the tiki bar, too... the good stuff is behind the bar.

The 4th of July, Independence Day is a time for Americans to reflect, to give thanks. Thanks to our forefathers for having the sense to get the hell out of England.
I shudder to think what life might be like were we still living in the Queens clenched fist.
I imagine were I a British citizen/peasant today Id be a sheepherder or perhaps riding the countryside on my horse collecting taxes from the poor to further the Kings ransom leaving behind burned villages, homeless children, widowed mothers and smoldering puppies.
The people of England even in the 20th century live in huts with straw for a roof and dirt floors under their feet. For the wealthy few that might enjoy modern conveniences such as indoor plumbing and ice boxes, there are millions more selling organs and their children so they may afford a days meal. Even those with the internet, they have to pedal to get it up and running.
God Bless You America !
God Bless Us All !

Did anyone ever notice, That if you use Canada as our hat and Mexico as our beard, then lean your head to the right and squint your eyes, the U.S. looks kinda like Abe Lincoln.

My 4th will be quiet as usual. I'll watch the fireworks from the Indian casino across the river. That's about it. But one thing is that tomorrow will be one day when all those slags about my country just aren't going to count for anything. I'll just quietly be grateful for my home.
