Here to make friends, are ya Lon?

Yep, building people up and making them feel good.

See what I mean?

What do you feel you contribute here, Lon? Anything? You feel you brighten the place up with your charm and compassion for people? I'm not seeing it.

What I see is someone who is antagonistic and seemingly has some peculiar agenda for belittling fellow members. I tried to pass it off as you and I (and others) having a personality clash but no, the problem isn't us. It's you. There's a book you might should look into.

How To Win Friends and Influence People.

It's required reading for anyone with a lick of class.

No that was the truth. It wasn't meant as a bad thing, more of if he had any creativity he wouldn't need to ask. It wasn't directed at you good sir. I never said I was a class a comedian either.

I should realize, that you being the Prima Donna of FG by virture of your numerous, enlightening, intelligent, compassionate, sincere posts, would take offense to anyone that tries to get people to think beyond the mundane, profane and insane. I do not seek advice, friendship or compassion from anyone on FG. What I do seek and occasionally find, is intelligent discussion from similar people, and you unfortunately are not one of them, so no need to ever respond to my posts. BTW, I read your suggested book 40 years ago and was responsible for the numerous friends and aquaintances that I have outside of the CYBERWORLD.

We all chat here for different and varied reasons. Sometimes looking for intellegent debates/comments. Sometimes looking for advice. Sometimes just a shoulder to lean on. Sometimes just a friendly chat.

Why try to start a fight. Lets not start judgeing people because they are not like you and do not seek the same things.

I guess anyone who does not like the topics here could always leave!!

Then Doctor Lon, why don't you go play with those friends? You behave like a cantankerous and often offensive induhvidual who seems to think he has a monopoly on intelligence around here. Are you aware of how many of us are plain weary of your nonsense? Then again, I'm sure it wouldn't matter. Thank God you don't find me one of your "similar people," I'd hate like hell to be lumped in with that mess.
