My beef is with the ones who do, thinking it makes them a cooler more interesting person. Nothing could be further from the truth. And on forums when people are wiped and they can't type, can't spell, can't even form a cohesive thought, that's a prime example.

Gawd most of us have posted after a few, when Pinky does it she has me in hysterics at times. All part of the fun of a forum. We cant all like the same things. People come here sober who cant type, spell or form a cohesive thought. :wah:

Now come on you guys, I wasn't naming anyone here...this could get nasty...

:-3

But yeah Buttercup, that's true...some people are like that sober.

I have a friend who goes out, does too many shots, throws up on his shoes, then orders more. When he's not with his drinking pals he can go months without a drink or at least without getting sauced. But when he's with them, he won't stop when he knows he should because he says "it's a social thing" and his friends wouldn't want him around if he wasn't drinking too. The guy's 36!! I don't get that because your real friends aren't going to care one way or another and being social is a lame excuse. This is what I'm talking about.

You could try asking here but i doubt many would admit it, it is quite common tho.

I think you should get some better friends I don't know anyone like that nor would I ever want to . Just casue you know a couple of drunks doesn't mean the rest of us are.

No, I haven't singled out anyone but if you think this applies to you that's your prerogative.

I didn't ask you whether or not I should get better friends and I think you're a bit out of line with that comment.

You are the most argumentative person I know on here or actually period. It's not becoming. At all.

Sure I did. People who do just as I was talking about. Like you apparently. I still haven't forgotten that night you were so obnoxious to us. Again.

And no. You are just plain argumentative. That stands.

I don't feel like getting in a p.issing match with you so if you're spoiling for one again, just take it elsewhere.

I drank half a bottle of vodka last night, with company, not hungover, still drunk.:wah: Good girly night chat session, I was so busy chatting I didn't notice my mate topping up my glass all the time  . Took me four attempts to ring my mate to come and pick me up but I was still coherant and sort of in control :o

I just see it as more of a conversation thingie when people say they're hungover in the morning, whether online or in person. It's no different than when someone says they're sick or has a headache or they're tired or whatever. I mean why does anybody share how they are feeling that day with everybody else?? :)

naw you didn't single anyone out, none of us would have replied if we didn't want others to know we drink. We made it our choice you only asked the question.

I got friends I drink regularly with who get fall down sloppy drunk, they can't seem to stop, and it's 5 times a week they do this, they have a problem. Me I drink a couple beers matched equally with same number of glasses of water, and can still function, but come the morning I feel a little sluggish, I call that a hangover. I once not to long ago had a Double H Hang over, (Hellish Hangover) and that I am very un proud of.

Meh Red you asked an intelligent question it was the rest of ours options to respond as we see fit. Nobody was singled out.
