i have a question for all you bakers...
my gramma used to make these bars that were similar to rice krispie treats but not. instead of marshmellows they had butterscotch chips, peanut butter, and melted chocolate all over the top.
No one in my famiy has this recipie. or how to make them.
Do any of you know what the Heck I am talking about??

I don't have the recipe but I imagine you could split the marshmallow and peanut butter evenly to get the flavor and the "stick-um", then fold in the butterscotch chips. After they have cooled pour the melted chocolate bars (bakers chocolate) over the top.

Wolverine:
This might be close. I remember my grandmother made something like this.
I thought the peanutbutter and butterschotch were good together.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
2 cups corn syrup
18 oz. peanut butter
8 cups Rice Krispies
6 oz. butterscotch morsels
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Bring sugar and syrup to a boil. Add peanut butter and cook, stirring until well blended. Remove from heat and pour hot mixture over cereal. Mix quickly and thoroughly. Spread in a greased 9x12x2-inch pan. Sprinkle butterscotch and chocolate morsels over top. Press morsels into bar mixture lightly with spoon. When cool, cut into bars and store at room temperature.
