and a bit shy, especially when i was greeted with a red heart shape figure claiming to be able to guess my prospective lover's name?
Does that give me an idea what sort of forum site this is?
I know I wont be able to express myself on debatable subjects as there is only one view allowed but the mind police haven't got me yet.
So, oh forum discusser's whats your view on George Galloway's 'spunk loving sluts' speech in parliament?
A question I think that will give me an insight to the type of forum site you are?
But treat me gently because I'm oh so shy!!!

Did the treasurer of the Labour party ask Richard Desmond from which part of his considerable wealth he was donating handsomely to new Labour’s coffers? Did the treasurer of the Labour party—I apologise to the right hon. and learned Member for Camberwell and Peckham (Ms Harman) for the language that I am about to use—ask if Mr. Desmond was giving from the profits of “Spunk-Loving Sluts”, “Asian Babes”, XXX pornographic television, or the profits of the Daily Star—
Mr. Speaker: Order. As I said, I wish to give the hon. Gentleman as much leeway as I can, and I promised—of course I would do this for any hon. Member—to make sure that he has the protection of the Chair, but we are discussing the report of the Standards and Privileges Committee. The matters that he is raising at the moment are not relevant to that report, and he must come back to it.
Mr. Galloway: With respect, Mr. Speaker, they are highly relevant. It is a question of glass houses and people throwing stones. It is a question of a committee of politicians criticising me for political fundraising when they themselves are responsible for political fundraising on a gigantic scale, from the most dubious of sources, in which they never applied to themselves the standards that they seek to apply to me in this report.

Mr. Galloway's hand is one I would shake with a sense of honour, should the chance occur.

Welcome - I missed the speech which was a shame but would like to post a quote from the Sketch :-
"Just because there are many of you and one of me doesn't mean I'm outnumbered!"
Gorgeous George's attitude to a 'T'.

Spot, thats a nicely scripted reply.
Although I dont agree with much of George Galloway's views I take my hat off to the man for putting some gusto in Parliament. When referring to a 4 year investigation into George's involvement in a charity for deprived people in Iraq due to the trade embargo's imposed, he compared the investigation with referrences to loans for honours scandal as a hunch back (Westminster) telling a man not to stoop and sit up.
Its interesting that the investigation into George's dealing with the charity took 4 years and yet the investigation into Tessa Jowell and her husband took 60 minutes over gifts received from rich Italians and the increase in their mortgage to sort of money launder the gifts and make them invisible to Parliamentary scrutiny.
Thank you all for your greetings

Spot, that is a superb list of musicians you've put up on your profile, apart from a few I've not heard of the only one I can have an issue is 'guns n roses', but some really bring back some memories..'curved air', 'the albion band', Maddy Prior, Sandy Denny, John Renbourn, Tyrannosaurus Rex, but I think you've missed one artist out...'Donavon', I think he could be considered on par with Dylan

Bryn Mawr saw Donovan play in a room in London last year if I remember right. I'm all in favour of him, yes. Hey, I saw Marc Bolan on stage too.
Axl Rose is a great man, I'll not hear a word against him.
I think we should look for a way to let us hear each other's music online.

I did indeed and wonderful it was too - not quite at his best but, with the time he's had out, he can be forgiven that.

Its not bad, there seems to be some interesting member's
What I find unusual is after reading some threads is there are some that are quite knowledgeable, even challenging to answer which is good, and some can even recognise my warped sense of humour without taking it to heart
