A new series has started up over here (it could already be running elsewhere), called heroes and last night was the third show. Has anyone else been watching it? I have loved it so far and think that it has great potential as a program.

It is generally about a number of people around the world beginning to discover that they have various super hero powers, and they are being drawn towards each other as some pending disaster is looming in the distance.

If you have the chance to see it check it out. The kid inside you will love it.

I watched the first two and have the third recorded - I liked them, they have the potential to be really good.

It's not the sort of program I would normally watch but I have to admit I'm hooked, its on again on BBC 3 on the same night too, they show the next weeks episode at 10pm.

We've gone through the first season over here. I don't know when the next season starts, but i'm looking forward to it.
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

Let us know what your ideas are on the show. What do you think is causing the anomalies? Where do you think it is headed etc. etc. It will be fun if you had the same thoughts as us who have seen it already.:)

OK, watched the third episode last night and was completely freaked out by the girl waking up during her post mortem examination!!!! That was just so weird but oddly compelling too.

I don't watch the show (I will catch up with it as it's released to DVD; I try not to slave myself to too many programmes at once), but my wife is a huge fan.

You sci-fi geeks across the pond will be happy to see a couple of familiar faces along the way as events unfold. (I love those moments when you point to a character on the screen and yell "Hey! It's _______________!".
