Are You High or Low Maintenance?

Post by Lon »

They tell me that I am very low maintenance.

I pick up my clothes and put them away.

I wash and press my own clothes

Never leave dishes in the sink

Leave the bathroom spotless

I do most of the cooking and shopping for groceries

I hate clutter and pick things up

How about you? High or Low?

Ron I do everthing you do. When can we elope? My dear husband never picks up his clothles, thinks the railing on the stair way is own person clothles rod, he thinks an iron is something from outer space, never leaves dishes in the sink because he has left them on the end tables, with all his newspapers spread all over the floor, won't even go near what mess he leaves in our bathrooms. Ohe wise he is a very high maintenance slob. :-5

who wants to go play with their bikes :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl The mother of a ADHD and 2 hyper boys after him....that is too funny....we saw this t-shirt in a catalog that said something to the effect: "People say I suffer from ADHD, I disagreee"........."Look a chicken"... Around my house when I know that I've lost their attention I say "LOOK A CHICKEN" and works everytime!! :wah:

Josh pays most of the bills while I am in school, so I do most of the housework. Believe me, people, this will change when I graduate.

I do not enjoy cleaning the kitchen 9 times a friggin' day. Laundry is not my favorite thing to do AND, though I am a fabulous cook, I don't enjoy it every day.

I'm high, but for the same reason. I'm a complete neat freak, while my wife would let dishes sit in the sink for a week. So I always wind up wigging out getting after her to help.

Check list:

I pick up my clothes and put them away.

Not applicable - a Lady can't wear an outfit more than once - and the maid must then do something with it I suppose. Never really thought about it... ???

I wash and press my own clothes

I'm unfamiliar with this concept. Do appreciate that a Gentleman's valet may press a Gentleman's suit or send it away somewhere to a cleaners or something. This is on the need to know basis.

Never leave dishes in the sink

What is a sink?

Leave the bathroom spotless

Spot is in my bathroom? Call Security!!!

I do most of the cooking and shopping for groceries

I love to shop. What are groceries? The cook looks after the kitchen, when one isn't eating in a restaurant or hosting a large gathering when caterers are de rigueur.

I hate clutter and pick things up[/I}

Alien concepts

Summary

Maintenance is what all the ex's pay so one can stay on a high. Low is too far down.

I always thought high and low maintenance referred to personal grooming and dress and how much time you put into each...?

I think I am both. When it comes to my house, I like to clean and do everything. When it comes to my hair and nails and things like that, I would have to say very high maintance.

I'm very low maintenance, although I'm certain most may have trouble seeing it who know my good taste. The fact is that I am just as comfortable in a rather Spartan existence, as I would be in the lap of luxury, if you will.

I was brought up to be self-sufficient, despite coming from a family that was rather well off. I can cook, bake, clean, do my own laundry, grow my own food, handle my finances, protect myself in any possible situation. I'm a survivor... even in a SHTF scenario... I can take care of myself, and others just fine. :D

These things are not what i class as high or low maintenance, seeing as you have, i do all of the above 'sometimes' so i fall between the two.

I think I'm low maintenance. But I didn't think that whether you clean up after yourself, or not, has anything to do with it.
