I was in, you did not chap on the door, you just popped your little red ticket through the letterbox.

This has happened to me several times, just how common is this? Does this happen to you?

It has happened many times, they tend to knock once and not give me enough time to get to the door:-5

The guys that routinely deliver to me, know where the secret hiding place is for them to leave the parcels:)

And yet ...

One of the big delivery firms played tag with me in Sydney and finally called me to say I'd have to go way out into some industrial area to pick up the parcel as all else had failed. I said I couldn't do this - and a very kind bloke there agreed to do a special drop off for me at an agreed place I could get to. So I guess sometimes it does work...
