Did anybody see in the news the action that the tourist in Kruger Park (South Africa) caught on video. Amazing stuff.
The clip is about 8 minutes long, so here is a summary before you get into it.
A small group of buffalo are strolling along a waters edge with unaware of a pride of lions near by. The lions attack, getting hold of one of the young, the adult buffalo run off. The lions wrestle with the young buffalo who falls into the water. The three lion are pulling him out when a crocodile gets in the action, grabbing the young buffalo. There is a tug-of-war between them and the lions win. Then to everyone’s amazement something happens that has never been seen before. The adult buffalos return with an entire herd to help save their young.
