Put me on that list, I was going to add her to the "where are members" thread, but never got around to doing it....I'm missing Minksy too, thought maybe she was on another one of her vacations...but she usually lets us know....

Aww I am back I am back.

Yes I was on holidays with Jr Minks OMG it's going to take me a month to reduce pics and load them,

Jr Minks and I had a blast, we hit Montana, Idaho, Washington State, never got to seattle but stayed instead in Tacoma for a couple days, back up to canada into BC to a lovely lake side community called Summerland where an old friend put us up for a couple days. OMG we had a blast. We found our dream home hehehe in Tacoma, a tiny penninsula called Browns Point

Angeleyes thanks for the text, I was asleep, I have today off, just got up actually am hanging close to home cause dad is in surgery right now, thanks guys for inquiring about me

thanks giggles we did have a great time, Jr Minks did the driving I did the map reading and it was a blast ok cept for the little creepy town of Easton we got in got gas and got out it was toooooo creepy for me hehehehe

I just got word my dad went under the anesthetic a few minutes ago, with ease. I am signing off for a bit, going up to visit with my mom and brother and sis in law for awhile as support. Will report back later.

Saw my dad last nite, he came through surgery well, he is not a happy guy cause the doc told him it was tougher than they had originally thought, they told him there is nerve damage, (I suspected that before hand since he was loosing control of his right foot prior) and he is extremely aggitated he wanted a private room, only semi was available, and I suspect when they took him in there they had to move his roomie from the window seat/bed to the door side as dad is extremely extremely claustraphobic, sooooo it's a good thing in a way as he is is usual self, "cranky old fart" hehehehe As for the nerve damage they told him this surgery would stop the progression of further damage but may not cure what was already damaged, of course dad had higher hopes. We shall see, time will tell. He has to remain on his back all day today and last nite that made him angry as heck. So along came nurse and she brought him his own fresh never before used bag of morphine. Thank goodness for that I hope this helps him settle down. Good old dad eh, never goes down without a fight.

That is all I know till I hear from mom later.
