A man is lonely. His doctor says "You need a pet." The man goes to the pet store and makes friends with a little centipede. He pays for his little friend and takes him home. Time passes and he says to the centipede "I'm gonna go to the bar, you wanna come along?"
No answer.
He leans closer to the shoebox his little friend is in and speaks into an airhole:
"I'm gonna go to the bar, you wanna come with?"
Still no answer.
The man gets a little annoyed and says loudly to the box, "I said I'm going to the bar do you wanna go or not?"
Just then a tiny voice was heard.
"I heard you the first time. I was putting on my shoes."
