Words. There are so many to choose from and so many that are overlooked.

What are some of your favourite under-used words?

betwixt

hyperbole

giblets

flange

paltry

gumption

Well I try to give them all a turn so they don`t feel underused. Despite this I did manage to slip "machinations" into a conversation this morning!

I like the way we have come up with names for groups of things.

a Murder of Crows

a Gagle of geese

a Pod of whales

a Clench of clients at a protologist office
