I made Bread today

Yes, my first attempt at bread (I made Irish soda bread of course (brown)) it turned out great and I am delighted with myself for being able to make nice bread, its a good skill! :guitarist

Congratulations!!! I used to make home made bread and cinnamon rolls from scratch....a bit of work, but worth it to hear people say mmmmmmm yummmmm



Nowadays I use the bread machine, but not nearly enough:(

Excellent Dr. G making bread from scratch is wonderful the smell is something else. Yummmmmmm..!!

Good for you Gal. I love Irish soda bread...make it a few times a year.

I have a breadmaker that I use twice a week. But, the size of the bread is way too small. So, I just make the dough and then make pizza or a fancy bread....cheesy, spicy with lots of sun dried tomatoes....yummy. The house smells heavenly while the bread is cookin.

I love when the scent of fresh bread baking fills the house, way to go big guy!!!!



Oh, and all of us will be expecting our piece soon, just a lil butter hun,trying to watch the figure! Ha Ha

Thanks all, yep, making bread is cool, I am getting a recipie of someone for making bread like they had in ancient rome, you need spelt wheat and olive oil, stuff like that, I will let you know how I get on next week! You are right though, home made bread is yummy! :)
