What goes around comes around
-I used to beleive this whole heartedly, but now I dont, it seems nasty people just dont get whats coming to them, yeah I know that we answere to a higher being and all that, but sometimes you just want to see them get theirs. What is your thought on this, do you beleive that what goes around comes around.?
What goes around comes around
Yes I do believe it.
You can’t confuse Karma with Justice.
With Justice you want to witness it come back around to them.
With Kama, you just need to accept that when it comes back around to them you may not have the privilege of seeing or knowing about it.

What goes around gets to come around. WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT.
We all have to to the GO FIGURE EXPLAIN on that.

I agree with that. You never know what is happening in other peoples lives sometimes so as far as you know Karma might have reached them tenfold:D Also i believe if people are nasty, spiteful, hurtful to others or just plain evil.. then they cant possibly be happy:-3

What goes around comes around
Look at it this way... Bad people are around for the good people to sharpen their survival skills. The ability to discern... is an art form acquired by having brushed too close to the mean, the vindictive, the cruel, and the deranged creatures that inhabit this world right next door to angels. One can almost become a green beret in life survival. What goes around comes around? I dont think it does. But then I dont stick around long enough around those who deserve it to come around, to know if it ever comes around or not. I have gotten to the point where I actually am silently grateful to humans who have provided me with bad experiences. They enabled me to learn to move on, move up, and to deftly manuever myself to avoid undesireables being in my life.

I used to believe that.
Then I read a post of Spot's, written a while back, which said that that was a stupid assumption - how often do you ever see anyone get payback? (Sorry if I've misquoted you there, Spot.
)
Spot's post really made me stop and think.
I'd always assumed people did get back what they deserved, but now I realise he's right. Some people just seem to have blessed lives. Everything goes right for them. Yet that is still not enough. They stab others in the back They want more and more and are incredibly foul if they don't get it - or even if they do! Only one person I know, who lives a wonderful life, is truly grateful for what she has!
Likewise I know several people and also several families where life just constantly kicks them and keeps them down. They struggle to survive, can barely keep their heads above water - and yet they can be the nicest, kindest, most generous people alive.
I've only ever seen one person get her comeuppance, and I have to say, that was GREAT to see! :wah:
Of course this is a huge generalisation. But I frequently notice how extremely unfair this world is to the majority of people in it. I wish I knew why it has to be this way?

I'm a big believer in karma. I knew a guy who was one of the most nasty, poor excuse for a human being I ever saw. Karma bit him on the @ss. He ended up having a stroke, in a nursing home, in a wheelchair, etc. He could no longer say or do anything to hurt anyone. I'm not proud to admit that I was happy to see that after years of abusing others, he was at the mercy of others.
What goes around comes around
I believe what goes around comes around...and i try really hard not to have animosity towards people that have wronged me..i just let them go..because to be angry at them is giving them power in my mind...i dont forget..and keep a wide distance after that but i dont dwell on them either...or i try my best not too....

What goes around comes around
There's a derivative of "What comes around goes around" that I think is more apropos. It's a quote from a short live Sci-fi television show Firefly.
"Wheel never stops turning, Badger."
"That only matters to the people on the rim." - Mal and Badger
And basically that comes down to those who do not live on the edge (i.e. the rich and powerful) have the ability in many circumstances to shield themselves from the natural consequences of their actions.
Is this fair? Not a chance in hell. I'm no priest or monk. I can't even offer the solace that there's another side where a judge is handing out salvation and damnation like some kind of divine Santa Claus.
If you're looking fairness in this world the only place you're guaranteed to find it is in your own heart, and even then the price to find it is exceedingly high.

Hi Mel... good to see you. Your right. I know people who have EVERYTHING, and all they do is complain. They are not necessarily mean, I guess just oblivious to what they have. Then I know people who have suffered like dogs, who are as kind as they can be. How weird is it that a wealthy person will win a 6 million dollar lottery? Then someone who struggles to survive $$$$ gets ill only to discover that their insurance leaves them a 15,000$ balance to pay, and they are ruined for life. This is why we are a medicate ourselves society. Some people cant handle the iniquitys of life, during the course of a lifetime. They give up. I have spent my life saying to myself.. " Well, I may not have much, but I have my integrity, and I have always been honest." Duh, it gets old. To see the dishonest, or users get away with everything, and have easy lives. Honestly, if it werent for this THING I have to carry on my back, called CONSCIENCE... Id really like to be a cat burglar.... or a jewel thief. Like Robin Hood though... you know robbing those who have too much, and sharing with those who have nothing??? There goes that CONCIENCE again......... Dammit!!!!:wah:

I believe in what goes around "gets" around.
You may not get what you give but people are surely going to find out about it eventually. Weather anything happens from there ya never know.

I think there's Kharma for the big stuff and human payback for the rest that's too little for Kharma to deal with. I don't believe in just one or the other.

On the whole I think people do get what they deserve....it's just that some times it takes a long time. Someone at work has 'just got theirs'....it's taken years !

What goes around comes around
I believe that people who are mean, unkind, underhanded and otherwise bad, who seek to indulge their whims at the expense of others or who care less about others then they do about themselves, I think those people ought to be pitied.
Most suffer extreme self-image, self-worth issues that cause them to crave positive affirmation from their environment, be it cyber or in the flesh. Thus the sutpid drama queen behaviors, gang bangs and thugfests.
oh, did I type that?
Some, who step past the normal every day person into the anit-social sycopathic nut, should be excluded from this commentary.
