Nice to wake up and hear the horses singing!!! Australia is in the throes of some kind of flu plague upon our equine friends, which seems to be shutting the country down. Or is that APEC?! Great to see you again, Choco!!!

I have to be in Sydney during all that, Magenta!! Business stuff. I'm so staying out of the CBD, but I live on the harbour. And Circular Quay is where my ferry connections all hafta go... You know, there are some people who live to march and protest. There are genuine protesters too, of course, but so many who just seem to enjoy being loud and loutish, disrupting for its own sake.

Given the choice of a bunch of the above bovver boys and girls, or a bunch of silly singing hossies, my choice would be to head for the hills with a handsome ski patroller, a bottle of champers and me sunscreen... How was Mt Hotham?
