Why do parents, children, co-workers,bosses etc have to blame, think how the world would be if everyone just owned up.

UGH we have a co worker who loves to blame me alot and everybody sees right through him I dunno why he never fesses up to his mistakes, we have caught him a number of times.

Sure, it'd be a great world. But, all you can worry about or take responsibility for is your own actions. As for it never going to happen, just follow what Gandhi said... "you must be the change you wish to see in the world." If you can live your life in that fashion, than at least "owning up" has happened for you.

And that's all you can ever control.

My first thought was to wonder why any explanation was required at all.

Unnecessary to blame if no one is asking for an excuse.

I always look for the part I played in any situation, though. It's far more empowering than viewing oneself as a victim.
