Thats a plan after my own heart, unfortunatly its MY taillight thats broke, sorry I didn't make that clear I think. I doubt you suggest I torch my own vehicle, as that would be self-defeating at best. :(

wot year is yer car? Can ya get the part for less at a recovery place, ya know used and recovered off cars set for demolition?

That is costly.

How odd i too have an almera-109,000 on the clock. One of mine (I bashed a hole in it with my briefcase) is currently patched with that clear you get for repairing caravan windows. If it's just cracked and you don't care about how it looks it's a nice cheap option that gives the car more character. In my case it goes nicely with the bash in the front wing where i skidded in to a traffic bollard.

What damage did you do to the other car?

Yes, I am starting to consider alternatives at this stage, as thats a lot. The other car was an 07 Sanyyong (whatever) Jeep type thing SUV. God probably made in China out of pollution and peasants. There was hardly a scratch on that car, just a bit on the bumper, your man was a bit iffy bout it, he better not start, I hate that. Oh well.

Look for the part on the internet Gally. Over here you can go on car-part.com or others and they loo nationwide for your part. It is usually a lot cheaper even with freight than dealers are.

Well, maybe later, you know an insurance job? I would like a slighty newer car now, those Quasqais are quite nice, I was driving one around, but don't let on, alright? ;)
