Did Mona moan while Leonardo was painting her?????

Mona Lisa was sent to trial for her part in the Da Vinci Code merriment, but it turned out she'd been framed.

Oh Jimbo, it's not getting any easier, I see Mum everywhere in the house and whilst I know that in time this will be a comfort, right now it's very hard to deal with the constant reminders. It's been just over a month now since she died , I can't believe how much time has flown by already.

I'm off to Cornwall for a week at the end of September with my 2 sisters and then when I get back I shall have to look for a job, haven't worked for 8 years whilst I've been looking after Mum so I'm quite nervous at the thought!:yh_nailbi

No way Pam, being on the computer is the one place where my brain isn't constantly replaying the events of the past 6 months, you carry on, this is keeping me sane (well, what passes for sane in my respect!)

The inscrutable lady called Mona

But her protests grew fainter

When she fell for that painter

Now the whole world is eager to owna

Gfaaaaauuaauaua

???????????

I had to look that up in an etymological dictionary, Cars!! A word of Pacific Islander derivation from Gfaaaagfaaaa - meaning 'a virgin tossed into a volcano' - see also Gfaaghghgh - burning hot but playing cool - and uuaau - the orgasmic cry of the Polynesian toothfish, and figuratively meaning it's party time. The final aua shows the word refers to a female, usually of the nubile, barebreasted, youthful but bashful kind.

Quite hard to include "Gfaaaaauuaauaua" in a limerick, but anything is possible..

[Editorial comment: A spokesperson for the Academie ForumGardenaise wishes to make an appropriate award to Mr Cars for, in one succinct, but perfectly selected word, summing up the inner meaning, layers of nuance and even Schadenfreude in the poorly-crafted by well-meaning limerick cited below.]
