He calls me or stops in about once a day while I'm working. I don't call him at all unless it's important. A lot of the time, we are lucky to see each other 2 hours a day to talk. We usually work opposite shifts.

My wife, Nantana, and I talk often during the day when we are together.
She works out each morning at her gym club and often goes on from there shopping or visiting a friend.
I am normally at home during this time but she often calls me on her cellphone either to say 'hi' or to ask my opinion on something she's seen in a store.
Her first language is Thai and we sometimes talk together in that language. We never talk in Thai when we're with company who don't speak that language as we consider it rude to be talking away in front of people who couldn't understand what we were saying!

I know a lot of you are married or have a So. How often do you talk to each other during the day.. ( when the other is at work or when you are both at work? Tim and I talk CONSTANTLY. Unless I am busy with kids or he is spraying a yard. Other then that we call each other about 10- 15 times a day....

He does Pest control and a month or so ago one of the guys go fired so that leaves all these houses and 3 guys.. Today he will probably have about 22 stops. A normal day her might have 10- 11 stops. 64 houses have to be done and they are getting split between 3 people. It sucks. But it is good money.
My hubby is a warehouse and transport manager. He opens up at 5am to sort the drivers out etc and finishes about 7pm. He does 6am - 11am on a Saturday morning. But he gets paid well and luckily he's a morning person!!

My husband and I both work at the same place, different departments. We see each other in the morning before we go to work, we eat breakfast and lunch together, and see each other for a few moments before we come home from work.( His "shift" is one hour before mine, so he leaves an hour before I do. )
Neither one of us is what you would call talkative, but we are comfortable in both conversation and quiet moments. My favorite times are when we share a laugh or a smile.
It seems silly (to me) to count the actual number of times we talk to each other. People who love each other can and do use other means than mere words to communicate with each other.
