I have windows xp, does anyone know how i can show my adddress on my mail?

When i send a message my e-mail address does'nt show on the message.

Its a bit of a problem because when i send my nephew a message it goes into his bin.

Not exactly sure what you mean, Abbey, as even if you don`t put your own name on it when you send it, it should still show up in his inbox listed as from you - providing you have registered. Try sending a test mail to your own e-address, or failing that look up the Help section. Good luck!

I sent a test mail to myself & also added my name onto my list of contacts, when the message came through my name does'nt appear on the message in my inbox, just a row of 4 dots ....

The problem is, he only opens mail from his list of contacts, everything else goes into the bin.

Thanks John x.

There are reports that INCREDIMAIL will increase your pop-ups (spyware). I don't use but I have heard that.

Just a friendly warning

i have had it for 2 years with no problem. i do have a good pop-up blocker and run spybot and adaware often. i love my incredimail,i like the different stationaries and ability to collect animations.

ew ew ew! i hate incredimail. as many know, i run a business providing email services. many of my customers use incredimail. it should be named incredibloat! a two sentence message that would normally be less than 1 kilobyte in size will typically balloon up in size to nearly 100 kilobytes!

ew ew ew! however, since my customers pay for the service, i don't say 'ew ew ew' when they send me mail. but i have that luxury with LC! :yh_bigsmi

as far as incredibloat, i mean, incredimail doing popups, i believe that only happens if one uses specific links embedded in the mail - which is somewhat more likely due to the way incredimail works, but it's not something specifically in incredimail itself. i do know that some of the 'smiley' services out there are adware and spyware, and when you put one of their smileys in your mail, it reports back to the mothership when the recipient opens it.

for a real email client, one that's reliable, has plenty of features for regular and power users, there is no other client besides Eudora. i've been using eudora since 1996. i will never use any other email client, period.

as far as your name issue with outlook Abbey, check out the support pages here:

http://www.sonic.net/support/ss/mail/

they're a former competitor of mine, and as much as i dislike them (it's a grudge that goes back ten years), their email setup pages are most excellent. you may find your answer there.
